What technology/device will we need to make the video call?

Santa's Calling You North Pole Communication Device is more widely know as 'Zoom'. Therefore, all you need is a device which is able to make or receive video calls, preferably with the Zoom app installed, and a stable internet connection. We also recommend a large screen in the classroom so all children can see him.

Santa's Calling You takes safety and security incredibly seriously. All of our Santas are DBS checked. They also go through an in-depth training programme to the standards you’d expect. The video call itself is a private link that is password protected. Once you are on the call, the video call is locked so that nobody else can join. As part of your booking terms and conditions a teacher (aged 18 or over) must be viewable with the children on the call (if a child is on their own at any point then the video call will be terminated). Your safety, privacy and protection is our utmost priority, alongside a creating a truly magical Christmas experience! We record all video calls for security purposes and are safely stored, encrypted, and deleted after 7 days.

Santa's Calling You will be taking bookings from 1st December until 24th December inclusive For current availability please go to our booking page.

How long does the video call last?

Each video call will last from between 8 minutes and up to a maximum of 10 minutes. We understand that some schools don't think this will be long enough, we have therefore added the option to add on additional time to your call or even have a story read.

How many people can be on the video call?

For our school experience we recommend groups of between 10-30 students, although Santa is very adaptable to small or large groups. Have more than one class that will be joining the call? No problem just mention this in the information box so we can admit extra devices into your secure video call link.

Can I add additional 'secret information' after I have made my booking?

You most certainly can! You can add more information to your booking by emailing us up to 48 hours before your video call time.

Can Santa be called Father Christmas?

We understand that each school is different in what they call Santa. Be it Santa, Santa Claus or Father Christmas. If you wish Santa to be known as Father Christmas during your call this is fine. Just mention it in the information section when making your booking.

How much does it cost?

Unfortunately if you miss your appointment it will not be possible to claim a refund or re-book. Although we will try our best to re-schedule you if we have any availability left in Santa's Calendar. (Please note this is not guaranteed)

Although Santa's Calling You is based in the UK we do offer a worldwide service, after all every child should have the ability to see Santa at Christmas.

Our North Pole Video Call Experience for Schools is a fun, affordable and safe way to bring festive joy to schools this December.

Our Santa Claus experiences are available to book below with the experience lasting between 10-15 minutes or up to 30 minutes if booking several add-ons. A Santa video call to your school includes a range of festive fun entertainment. Choose from a traditional chat with Santa Claus where he will join the children on a live via video call to the classroom to check that all the children are on the nice list and that their teacher is also behaving! Or maybe you would prefer Santa Claus reading an interactive Christmas story to the class or new for 2023 is our Santa Bingo session getting everybody really into the Christmas Spirit.

All our experiences offer not only a Christmas experience for schools but also an educational aspect allowing teachers to expand on the video call experience with further tasks/lessons throughout the school day.

Christmas at Schools this December is always a special time of the year during the school term for pupils. That is why at Santa's Calling You we have put together a package which will keep the spirit of Christmas alive for all children who have had to adapt to forming class bubbles, reduced activities and potentially not be having the joys of Christmas School Plays and Christmas Fayres to look forward to.

We also understand that School Funding Ideas from Schools and their respective PTA's (Parent Teacher Associations) are being restricted due to the impacts of COVID-19.

Our North Pole Video Call Experience for Schools is a fun, affordable and safe way to bring festive joy to schools this December.

We have three experiences available to book with each lasting between 10-15 minutes or up to 30 minutes if booking several experiences. They all include a range of festive fun entertainment. From Mrs Claus reading an interactive Christmas story, to one of Santa's Elves playing festive games and talking to the children about their job at the North Pole. If that is not enough the children will also be delighted to know that Santa Claus is also available to join them live via video call to the classroom to check that all the children are on the nice list and that their teacher is also behaving!

The School Experience

Santa Live Video Call to School Classroom

December is always a busy month for all the festive activities, from the Christmas Play to the Xmas Fayre, so there is only one way to round off your festive activities with a North Pole Video Call Experience at your School with a virtual visit from Santa Claus himself.

The children will hear the sleigh bells and as if by magic Santa will appear on your live video call experience to greet all the class. Santa is a very clever man and will know a full list of the children's names as he checks to make sure they are all on the Nice List. Teacher's will also not get away with having their name checked on the list!

The whole class will have a chance to join in a good old fashioned sing-a-long with Santa and will be left with the task of writing a letter or drawing a picture to send to the big man himself.

There is nothing children love more at school than a good story time session, be it on the classroom carpet or seated at their school desks.

Santa Claus loves reading a good book and has a huge bookshelf full of age appropriate festive stories for that classroom story time session.

Children will enjoy an interactive and picture led story. There is sure to be lots of giggles and smiles as Santa Claus engages the class and may even get some teacher help with the festive inspired actions.

Younger years will be delighted by this lovely story with beautiful illustrations. For the older year groups the story read can be the start of an inspiring creative writing exercise allowing the children to create a rhyming story or Christmas inspired poem.

Santa sure loves a fun filled, festive game. With a full introduction to the class, he will tell the children all about his favourite game to play at the North Pole - BINGO.

A game of bingo with a festive twist for all the class to enjoy, allowing the children to have a fully interactive experience, where even the teachers are involved!

From choosing which Fun & Games session to picking an age appropriate festive book read by Santa Claus that hasn't already been read in class are just a few of the decisions to be made to make this school activity an educational and fun experience for both pupils and teaching staff.
