Santa School Booking

A virtual visit from Santa via Video Call to your School Classroom

Meet Santa virtually in the School classroom this Christmas

Having Santa visit the school in the traditional way, be it a flying visit into each classroom or in this grotto is a thing of the past. Luckily our Elves have worked really hard and came up with the North Pole Communication Device 'Santa's Calling You' allowing you to bring Santa direct from the North Pole into the school classroom virtually via a Live Video Call Experience.

By allowing Santa to visit the school virtually, children are able to see Santa at his home in the North Pole offering an educational experience at Christmas to the classroom at school.

Santa may be used to speaking one to one in his Grotto but he is more than comfortable with speaking with larger groups and of course checking all the children's names on the Nice List. Teachers beware Santa has also been keeping his eye on you!

If a video call with Santa Claus for you school is what you are looking for then you are in the right place. We will bring Santa to the classroom this Christmas!

Frequently Asked Questions about your School Virtual Santa Visit

We understand you may have a few questions about a live video call with Santa Claus.

We have detailed a list below of Frequently Asked Questions which we hope will give you some answers.

If you don't find the answer you are looking for do feel free to contact the team here at Santa's Calling You.

  • What technology/device will we need to make the video call?

Santa's Calling You North Pole Communication Device is more widely know as 'Zoom'.

Therefore, all you need is a device which is able to make or receive video calls, preferably with the Zoom app installed, and a stable internet connection.

We also recommend a large screen in the classroom so all children can see him.

  • Is the call pre-recorded or live?

    All calls are 100% live.

  • Is it safe?

Santa's Calling You takes safety and security incredibly seriously. All of our Santas are DBS checked.

They also go through an in-depth training programme to the standards you’d expect.

The video call itself is a private link that is password protected. Once you are on the call, the video call is locked so that nobody else can join.

As part of your booking terms and conditions a teacher (aged 18 or over) must be viewable with the children on the call (if a child is on their own at any point then the video call will be terminated).

Your safety, privacy and protection is our utmost priority, alongside a creating a truly magical Christmas experience!

We record all video calls for security purposes and are safely stored, encrypted, and deleted after 7 days.

  • What dates are you taking bookings?

Santa's Calling You will be taking bookings from Saturday 14th November 2020 until Thursday 24th December 2020 inclusive

For current availability please go to our booking page.

  • How long does the video call last?

Each video call will last from between 8 minutes and up to a maximum of 10 minutes.

We understand that some schools don't think this will be long enough, we have therefore added the option to add on additional time to your call or even have a story read.

  • How many people can be on the video call?

For our school experience we recommend groups of between 10-30 students, although Santa is very adaptable to small or large groups.

Have more than one class that will be joining the call? No problem just mention this in the information box so we can admit extra devices into your secure video call link.

  • Can I add additional 'secret information' after I have made my booking?

You most certainly can! You can add more information to your booking by emailing us up to 48 hours before your video call time.

  • Can Santa be called Father Christmas?

We understand that each school is different in what they call Santa. Be it Santa, Santa Claus or Father Christmas.

If you wish Santa to be known as Father Christmas during your call this is fine. Just mention it in the information section when making your booking.

  • How much does it cost?

Prices vary depending on what type of live video call you would like.

    Prices start from £24.99.

To check cost and availability you can do this via our booking page.

  • What if we miss our video call?

Unfortunately if you miss your appointment it will not be possible to claim a refund or re-book.

Although we will try our best to re-schedule you if we have any availability left in Santa's Calendar. (Please note this is not guaranteed)

  • Are video calls just for the UK only?

Although Santa's Calling You is based in the UK we do offer a worldwide service, after all every child should have the ability to see Santa at Christmas.

  • Does Santa only speak English?

Yes, we only offer an english speaking service.

  • Are the calls really from the North Pole?

All of our cast are based in the UK and use green screen technology to make it look and feel like the video call is really being made from the North Pole.
